CRITICAL ACCLAIM
“The Unfixing recognizes that our inner world, contaminated by hopelessness and imbalance, resonates with an outer world that is also ailing, and that only through the responsible care of both can we find the path toward hope and renewal.”
(Bea Talegón, EL NACIONAL)
“Wholly original cinema that people hope to see at a film festival…. The Unfixing is an art film embedded within a memoir.”
(THE MOVIE GOURMET)
“In this intergenerational story, vulnerability becomes central, revealing the cruel neglect of a world governed by the logic of productivity, one that condemns sick bodies to isolation and incapacity.”
(Maria Roca Sastre, NÚVOL)
“People left the theater in tears. It is a deeply personal story from Nicole herself… pure emotion, with stunning cinematography. I highly recommend it… it is a truly great film.”
(Jordi Forcada, CADENA SER)
“The Unfixing is an absolutely remarkable film and it is so artistically told. This is ultimately a film that is so full of hope”
(Robert Emmet, Thoughtline, KFJC RADIO)
“Gentle, not didactic. Revolutionary, not prescriptive.”
