The multi-award-winning documentary The Unfixing continues its journey with new festival screenings in Ithaca (NY), and Mexico; exhibitions in Sant Feliu de Guíxols and New York; a conference marking the 30th anniversary of the Emotional Ecology Foundation; and online events.
We are also launching The Unfixing Discussion Guide, designed to support community screenings and educational activities. The film is available for institutional and community screenings through 1stLook and Women Make Movies.
Among the highlights, the NYC Premiere – Earth Day Screening will take place on April 18 at New Plaza Cinema, followed by a Q&A with members of the filmmaking team. We will also present the film’s video installation as part of group exhibitions in New York and Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
In addition, The BTS Center’s Climate Conscious Chaplaincy Initiative is hosting a virtual screening and conversation with director Nicole Betancourt and climate adaptation expert Susanne Moser, exploring how the climate crisis shows up in our personal and spiritual lives.
