Between the Blue and Green Film Festival Announces The Unfixing for Best Feature Film Award Winner

The Between the Blue and Green Film Festival is delighted to announce the winner of this year’s Best Feature Documentary or Drama Award. The award has been presented to:
The Unfixing
Directed by Nicole Betancourt (USA-Spain)
Nicole Betancourt’s deeply moving and poetic work will be showcased in a special screening on Friday, 12 September at Audio Active, Worthing. The film explores themes of illness, healing, and the interconnection between humans and the natural world, offering audiences a cinematic experience that is both intimate and universal.
The festival also extends congratulations to the Runner-Up:
Wild Coast Warriors
Directed by Nick Chevallier, Leigh Wood, Guido Zanghi and Warren Smart (South Africa)

About the Festival
Between the Blue and Green is a week-long film festival held in Worthing from 6–13 September 2025, dedicated to the vital topics of sustainability and wellbeing.
The festival’s title reflects its ethos: protecting our environment — the blue and the green — and recognising the important space we hold between the two. Through the power of film, alongside practical activities, the festival seeks to highlight the urgent need to future-proof our environment, ensuring both current and future wellbeing of human beings as its guardians.
